Privacy notice
Short, because the site does very little.

What we collect
Two forms, and nothing else. The newsletter form takes your email address, optionally your name, and optionally which regions interest you. The corrections form takes your name, email, distillery, an optional website and your message.
With each submission we store a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string, to catch automated abuse. The hash cannot be turned back into an address.
What we don’t
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts beyond the web fonts served by Google Fonts. No cookies are set by this site. Nothing you submit is sold, shared or passed to a marketing platform.
Where it goes
Submissions are stored on our own server in the United Kingdom and emailed to us through Postmark, our transactional email provider. The newsletter, when it starts, will be sent from our own mailbox.
How long we keep it
Newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Corrections for as long as they’re useful as a record of why an entry says what it says.
Your rights
Email hello@scottishgins.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You don’t need to give a reason. If you’re not satisfied with how we handle that, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Age
This site is about alcohol and is intended for people over 18.
