Hendrick’s is distilled at William Grant & Sons’ Girvan site on the Ayrshire coast, in a pair of unusual stills — a Carter-Head and a Bennett. The cucumber and rose are added after distillation, not with the botanicals.

Where to buy it. We don’t sell gin and we take no commission, so the honest answer is to buy from the distillery. www.hendricksgin.com is their own site. Good independent bottle shops will stock it too.
